Self-Portrait

This is part of our final portfolio for my Basic Drawing 1 class. It was done on very expensive paper that we were remind on how expensive it was about five times per class period which made the whole thing nerve wracking. This was my first successful realistic piece and I am very proud of it. Because of that, it would be wonderful for someone to critique it. And my eyes are not straight, I know this. On the photo we were working from, they are not straight on it either. (I took out a ruler just to make sure) I think it was a trick of the shadows or something.

Materials: Medium vine charcoal and compressed charcoal (only used to make my jacket the darkest thing)
